UXD In Practice Reflective Journal Week 5

I came across some interesting resources this week that discuss the user experience of password complexity. It is something that all of us as users have come across in countless different contexts- and it is usually a frustrating experience. With data breaches becoming more common, and security becoming more and more of a priority to companies, users are required to pay the price with more complex harder to remember passwords.

The process of creating these modern passwords sometimes feels like cracking a vault in and of itself. More than once in recent memory I have struggled to interpret the requirements that are literally laid out right in front of me. Missing a special character, even with lower-case letters, upper-case letters, and numbers? Still not secure enough. The resource I found included an animated GIF image illustrating how the UX of password complexity (while making the password) is done correctly. dyuywph05ldx
