Working with hypothetical software is very challenging. Our User Research assignment required us to do just that, and even conduct interviews about it. The assignment was unclear to me at times, but it was a useful exercise to practice while considering the research process. User research is a topic that I have very little familiarity with, but am looking forward to understanding more down the road.
This week I also came across a resource online that recommended 2o documentaries that all designers should see. I enjoyed watching Helvetica in my last course while studying typography, so I was glad to find additional documentaries like it. I had no idea that so many were readily available online. They range in subject matter, one happens to be about a master sushi chef, but all ultimately pertain to design. These are great resources to check out when I need to take a break from reading, but still want to practice design thinking.
